For years I have had trouble sleeping. I often lie awake for hours waiting to fall asleep. When I finally do get to sleep I’m then rudely awaken by my alarm clock and am forced to get up to go to work. I find I don’t get sleepy until well after midnight and I always want to sleep late in the morning. Seeing I have to get up at around 7am, I don’t get anywhere enough sleep.

This blog is my sleep diary where I will record my sleep habits. I’m hoping this will give insight as to why I’m not sleeping well and how I can sleep better. I have created a website called Stop Yawning which offers tips and advice on how to beat insomnia and improve the quality of your sleep. All I have to do now is take my own advice.
