I had to go to the dentist yesterday and while he wasn’t ‘crappy’ in his work, the whole experience was. I don’t know why I have so many problems with my teeth. I brush twice a day, lately it’s been 3 times a day. I floss at least once per day. I don’t see what else I can do to take care of my teeth.

Ok, admittedly I have a fairly high sugar diet which is probably a contributing factor to my many fillings and my soon to be 3rd root canal/crown. I don’t think that’s the only reason though. My father has many fillings and crowns to and he doesn’t eat much sugar. I have no doubt a lot of my problems are heredity. Thanks Dad!

So after my little visit to the dentist last night for a fitting for a crown, I was left with just the stub of a tooth. Yuck. I can’t believe it’s come to this. I hope this guy knows what he is doing. I would much rather have gone to my regular dentist. This guy does come recommended by someone in the know so I guess it’ll be fine.

Whatever he did it left me bleeding for a few hours and when the anesthetic wore off I was left in a little pain. That meant I barely slept last night and in the end I got up early, no point in lying in pain when I can be surfing the net in pain.

I am feeling slightly better now and thankfully in less than a week it’ll be all over.
