Albania is a little but cute country in south eastern Europe, very close to Italy. It is quite possibly the least visited countries in Europe but that is starting to change as more and more tourists appreciate its beauty. This country has fantastic, sandy beaches, almost virgin mountain regions, and bustling, improving cities.

Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are unbelievably beautiful. They are mostly white, sandy beaches but there are a few pebble beaches too. You can spend time in the bright sun on a towel or pay for a sun bed, the decision is up to you to make. Plenty of the beaches are really untouched by visitors and a few are so out of the way that you could possibly have the beach to yourself, even in August.

There are quite a few fantastic mountain landscapes in Albania. Those in the north are extraordinary for skiing or hiking and you can also visit a few waterfalls and amazing lakes in the region. These mountains are fabulous to visit but the other mountain regions are also brilliant.

Albanian cities are vibrant with a cafe culture leading to heaps of cool cafes to relax in. Albania cities for example Durres are worth visiting to see the unusual old city area and not to mention to visit a couple of museums.

You are sure to find that Albanians are extremely warm and welcoming and will be more than pleased to introduce you to their country if you go there.
